About Us
Academy Central is incorporated by the State of Texas as a non-profit corporation and is registered with the federal government as a charitable foundation. Its purpose is to operate the Internet high school it established for the benefit of students from all walks of life who need high school training and who, otherwise, might not be able to receive it.
Academy Central is supported in part by donations from the public, by modest payments from students, and by sales of various products and services originated or obtained by the school.

About Our Course Materials and E-Library
The online academic courses provided through our Academy Central Web site were developed by professional educators from prominent educational institutions, government agencies, and organizations that exist solely for on-line education.
We link to those courses as a service to our online students. Enrolled students are provided both tutoring and testing in the courses. Everyone else is free to use the links without our assistance. Our E-Library is the largest in the world because its thousands and thousands of books, journals and papers are there by “links” to the many fine electronic libraries of a number of colleges, universities, government agencies, and open book and journal sources offered by foundations and a wide variety of private and public organizations.
